Tea Journey helps drinkers discover, make informed selections, and properly brew fine tea. The digital magazine was Kickstarted in 2016 by donors in 36 countries who contributed $128,000 at launch. Contributors include writers and tea experts at foreign-language publications in the tea lands. The magazine is mobile and multi-media inspiring readers to refine their taste in tea. The Tea Biz Podcast (2021) and the Tea Biz Blog (founded in 2013) are companion media to inform tea industry professionals. The audience is global, concentrated in the ten largest tea-importing countries, with readers in 106 countries.
“Tea Journey is a digital caravan of storytellers who travel to the tea lands and return with authentic, authoritative, and exclusive articles, photos, and video to help readers discover their tea destiny,” according to founder Dan Bolton. The digital magazine, blog, and podcast “serves a growing marketplace for fine tea and is backed with decades of publishing experience and an unprecedented network of devoted and respected tea authorities.”
